Where are you from?
Canada

How long have you played Golemizer?
Too long! October 1rst

How did you learned about Golemizer?
I don't remember exactly but I think it's from dev blog of over00. Yes, that must be it.

How many hours per week do you spend in Golemizer?
A friggin lot hours! I even stopped playing any other games to make sure I maximize my golemizer playing time.

As a gamer, how would you describe yourself?
Slow learner, I enjoy playing even if I lose all the time. Taking my time and having fun is my goal. Life is already hectic, why would I want to reproduce the same pattern in a GAME?

Which other games do you play or have you played?
Pirates of the Burning Sea. I might resume playing this fall, when I'm done with zillions of in-game projects I have with Golemizer.

How would you describe Golemizer to someone that never heard of it before?
A hell of a mess! Hmm... no I think I'm confusing with another game. It's VERY hard to describe Golemizer. It's advertised as Steampunk though sometimes I feel we're a bit too far from it (hint: we should steer the wheel into this direction). Sandbox game, yes, and that's very attractive for me. There are so many retard games where you auto-gather resources and click to train units or build and upgrade. Linear. Too easy. In the end, those games are good if you can crunch numbers, find patterns, write down a formula to follow the straight path to victory. In Golemizer, there is no such thing as linear way to win. Heck, you cannot win at all! isn't it wonderful? That's the perfect game for losers like me! So it's a blend of sim city with the sims and roller coaster tycoon and manga (whatever?).

How do I play this game? I'm new I don't know what to do.
Hey this is an interview, not a FAQ. Do the tutorials and check wiki, I'm not your nanny.

What do you think of the graphics?
Hey who wants 3D when you can have gameplay? Big companies are pushing hard to make superb games where all you have to do is shoot somebody in the head or in the nuts. The real thing is gameplay and Golemizer has it. Makes me laugh when a visitor tells us the graphics aren't great!

What does a typical Golemizer day consist of for you?
A lot of chat. Too much. I can't help it but tease players err I mean entertain them. So this slows down my harvesting/gathering/mining that is required to craft. I craft a lot of everything, mostly for my use and the rest for resale on market.

What do you enjoy most about Golemizer?
Freedom. I can do whatever I want. I can learn skills, craft golems, slaughter some players err other players golems, craft just about anything and everything, sell stuff, do some trading, fly in my blimp and there are thousands of quests awaiting us. We just need to explore a bit (or subscribe to GPS) to find amazing things. The level of freedom in Golemizer is outstanding! Players are the biggest content creators and they don't know it, or so little realize it.

I need 20 gold, can you give it to me?
What? Stop begging! You don't NEED 20 gold, you WANT them, not the same.

What was your favorite game update? Why?
Update 22 because it screwed up everything so badly that we aLL had to relearn a part of the game. In the end, after destroying 200+ bio parts and trashing a complete line of brand new zombies, I found a way to enjoy the new update. We are now able to store and recall golems at will! That is soooo much more useful than in the past. And revives are higher now and no more guild golems means even a perfect newb can toy around with a zombie horror or a mecha soldier. In the past, we had to be very careful while handling those one-time use golems. The dreaded update 22 ended being one of the best in my opinion.

Do you think Export John should be brought back?
Well I don't think so. He was a nice guy and everything but I don't miss him much. I understand we were selling junk to him and maybe it wasn't good business at all for him so I hope he found a better market than Lupini.

If you had to reincarnate into a golem, which one would it be?
I think it would be the Mutant Mushrooms. They are cute and they look idiot at the same time. A Huge poisonous mutant mushrooms throwing toxic stuff at you from a distance. Don't you like the idea?

Being an indie game developed by a single person, Golemizer is obviously a more modest MMO than games like World of Warcraft. What are your thoughts about the indie status of Golemizer?
I don't know much about indie games. I've played a lot of web browser games and though some were very fun, despite being text-only, they lack game play. Or in the end you can use Maths to calculate everything and predict any possible outcome of the game. Golemizer is hard to learn, very heard. The very best points about the game makes it hard at first. Once you get into it, it's really addictive!

Anything you'd like to see introduced in the game in the future?
Well since you ask for it... In the mountain trail part we could have a cliff where the noobs could be pushed off from it. A sort of similar stuff like pirates do: walk the plank. And if they don't do it, we just push them a bit to help them...

Any funny or memorable moment in Golemizer you want to share?
Happens all the time! A players says he/she will craft item X and sell lower than me to get all the sales. And then I try to talk some sense into them, and miserably fail. Sometimes they get upset but it always end up the same way: I'm left (almost) alone crafting the said X item... Nobody else is sustaining steady production. We need crafters, steady ones, do you hear me? There is room for more than me on this market!

And there was also this airshow we did at dock! Yes, we were showing off, but that was cool, a sort of improvised blimp ballet!

Oh yes and when most of the RIP crew showed up at dock for a family picture. That was impressive to see that many of us at once! Scarry for some players, but we aren't harmful. Hint: dock is a safe zone.

You seem to really enjoy crafting golems, do you have any goals or something?
My initial goal was to reach 1000 golems. I'm now well over it and I will keep crafting more but at a slower pace. I will focus on making quality golems I want to have ratehr than just crafting just about anything for the fun of crafting. A golem a day to keep the game healty! Did you craft your daily golem?
